This fundraiser was a SAC initiative. They wanted to raise $5,000 in 5 days!

Mr. Serventi was one of the staff sponsors. His beard has already gone to the good cause!

Tory is SAC chair. Her hair is long enough to be donated to Angel Hair, to make a wig for a child.

These lucky students won the raffle ... they are going to be shaving the teachers!

The humiliation continues for Mr. Pettigrew, who now must sit in a Leafs chair!

 
Whipping-cream free for the Assembly!    Mr. Durk raised cancer funds by agreeing to a "reverse mohawk!"

Mr. Leverette (still with a beard) introduces the women from Angel Wigs.

He tells the students that they raised just over $8,400 to fight cancer!

All that money was raised with fun and hijinks ... all in 5 days!

Another $960 was raised by the dancers to fight leukemia.

The donation was made in memory of Ashley Medina, a Cawthra student dancer who died last fall.

Vanessa and Tory both have long, bleach-free, non-permed hair that can be used to make wigs.

The hair is tied with an elastic ....

and then it is snipped off!

Next, it's Tory's turn!

There it goes ... to make a wig for a child whose hair is gone.

She gets a standing ovation from Mr. Serventi, who is waiting to get his head shaved!

  
Mr. Ball is giving his hair for cancer again!    Mr. Bowering is getting a clean shave as well.

Tory is getting a buzz cut!
