During the March break, 21 Cawthra students travelled to Costa Rica for a Science field trip. The focus of the expedition was a cooperative agricultural community located in central Costa Rica. This community has a unique and very successful organizational framework and a strong environmental ethic. The students lived and worked with the people of the cooperative and were immersed in both the culture and the pristine ecology of the area. The trip also included a stay at a rustic mountain eco-lodge high in the cloud forest and a vist to the Pacific coast where they explored a dry forest wildlife reserve.

All pictures showing Cawthra students require the username/password for access. Those pictures are located at Students in Costa Rica.
