Children's Books

A major unit in Ms. Towe's ENG3C class is a unit on children's books. During this study, the students examine various children's books to learn traditions, patterns and the use of illustrations to enhance the written word. Then, their summative assessment is to create an original book. The results are excellent -- definitely worth reading! Many of them will be displayed at Cawthra's annual U.R.O.C. [United Readers of Cawthra] week. There were several awards for various categories. The event was celebrated with breakfast in class!
