Niagara Trip

156 Grade 9 students wait to board four buses.

Let's go!

Walking from the Fort George to downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake.

The first library in Upper Canada ... definitely worth a picture!

The cigar store Indian, a once common sight. Posing
before a statue of George Bernard Shaw.

The students completed worksheets throughout the trip.

Interesting old buildings now house a variety of shops.

Foot and hand benches!

Historical signs are everywhere.

Beautiful gardens and parkland.

Arriving late with style.

Quick ... the buses are leaving for Niagara Falls.

The statue of General Isaac Brock is seen on route. We also saw
the Laura Secord home.

At the top of the falls looking over.

Looking downriver toward the Bridal Veil Falls on the American
side.

The mist made the Horseshoe Falls difficult to see.

The Maid of the Mist better watch those rocks on the left.

Maybe if I step back further, I'll get out of this rainy mist.

There ... a full shot of the Horseshoe Falls.
