C.P.R. warmed up to an enthusiastic audience of Byngmount Beach
students who were still enjoying lunch hour.

One youngster was overheard saying: "Wow! We never had a
concert at my old school!"

The first runners arrive from Cawthra Park.

Helping out with the event.

C.P.R. (Cawthra Park Rocks) is really rocking at this point. Too
bad there's no sound on this webpage.

More Cawthra students arrive

Here's two of the organizers: Ms. Miller from Cawthra Park headed
the event!

The two principals: from Byngmount Beach and Cawthra, the schools
that twinned for the event.

Mr. Leverette came along for the walk!

Two principals from the two combined schools. Ms.
Fratia came along for the walk as well!

Many students personalized their walk with signs.

Students are rocking to the sounds of C.P.R. (Cawthra Park Rocks)
who played a full set!
Meanwhile secondary classes are going into the school to get their
assigned elementary class.

Ms. Fry with Eric Walters, author of "Run." Mr.
McCulloch with our Trustee and Chairman of the Board, Janet McDougald.

Here comes the CBC camera crew!

There were no speeches (we all knew why we were there!) ... just
music, magic and finally ......

Ms. Miller says it's time to start running/walking and to meet
back here for the walk back to Cawthra.

The high school students buddy up with the elementary students.

C.P.R. played until everyone had left for the walk.

Why don't we dance the whole route?

Free sun screen was available!

There they go .... to the end of the playground and across a small
wooden bridge. What a picturesque area!
