The 4 Sisters Come Down!
The smokestacks of the Lakeview Generating Station, fondly known as "the four sisters" came down at 7:30 a.m. on June 12. They have overlooked the Cawthra landscape since before the school was built. See the video clip taken from the Cawthra Football Field. The 4 sisters got their name because the generating station had 8 turbines "sistered" two per stack. Cawthra staff and students were there. Here are Ms. Fry's photos taken from the headland.
