Lunchtime Reading

Teachers and students have been reading aloud in the library for the first 30 minutes of each lunch period.

Mr. Bowering read from "Harris and Me."

All library copies have now been signed out!

Ms. Watson and Mr. Coombs brought in some of their young daughter's books.

Listening to children's books brought back a lot of memories.

On Hallowe'en, we had two special events ....

Mr. Brinton read the poem The Raven with his own birdish headgear!

He also read The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe, a master of the horror genre.

Ms. Fitzpatrick's students read aloud from her favourite play.

It's the perfect combo of drama and science!

UROC week ended with Mr. Venema reading a favourite short story and ....

Ms. Bartok reading a primary document about the Battle of the Alamo!

We had many other readers but we were too busy listening and forgot to take pictures.
