"Explore the Cawthra Library" Exercise

Note: This is assignment is an activity. Its purpose is to ensure that you know how to use the basic tools available on the school website and school computers. You do not have to hand anything in.

1. How many pages can you print for free each semester? {pcounter balance}
2. Find one Canadian Magazine database article on "Terry Fox" (remember to get your pledges for the run coming up on the last Friday in September). Copy it to Word and save it to your G: Drive. (starts with your student number). {library> findit - database}

4. Use the library catalog to find one book about sports, music, drama, visual arts or dance. {library> findit - catalog}
5. Look at your library account. {library> findit - catalog > My Library Record tab} Do you have anything outstanding from your elementary school?
6. Examine your teacher's Teacher Web. {home page, Teacher Web} Do you have any assignments?
7. Explore the school photos.
